I'm another that is suggesting to check out the Quilt in a Day books by Eleanor Burns. Years ago, I started out using her Log Cabin book, and made several quilts, with great success. :)

Well I'm bummed, went to the local Half Price Book store, the website said they had the E.B. Log Cabin book in stock, so I made a trip in and of course it wasn't there.

There are a few E. Burns on Amazon. Various prices of course.
