Need Help Naming this Pattern

2 Attachment(s)
I can spend hours designing but I have a hard time when it comes to naming a quilt or a quilt block!!

Here is the wall hanging version and a quilt version of this pattern
I would love any input for names!

The only thing I have come up with is Brownie Delight but that seems so run of the mill and hohum.

Actually I turned the quilt blocks around on this one so it probably should have it's own name seperate from the wall hanging.

How about chocolate mint something? But it probably should not be limited by the color palette.

ragamuffin 06-30-2013 07:08 PM

How about Irish Chair Rush?

labeelady 06-30-2013 07:34 PM

Looking at just one block..it sort of reminds me of 4 somethings sitting around a table. Could they somethings be bugs having a picnic? Or could they be in a card game?

bezzie58 06-30-2013 07:41 PM

what about " Thin Mint" like in the girl scout cookie

Rhonda 06-30-2013 08:02 PM

thanks ladies -I like all the suggestions so far. I thought about how the brown looks sort of like park benches.

But yes I also thought I should probably shy away from color names as it could be made in any color combos.

Snickerdoodle

JuneBillie 06-30-2013 09:34 PM

It does look like so many paths to the center place, with lots of little quick entries. lol.... With benches, a trip to the park, bench park, park avenue, or any variation. lol.... Fun making wild titles to see what works.

How about The Path to Ireland

Rhonda 06-30-2013 10:28 PM

On the Frontier, or maybe Frontier Living.... just reminds me of that time period. :)

nannyrick 07-01-2013 03:30 PM

No good at naming, but love the quilt.

DogHouseMom 07-01-2013 04:17 PM

I see elements of Jacobs ladder, and all together it reminds me of a garden gate.

So .....

Heavens Gate??

"May the Road Rise to Meet You" from An Irish Blessing.

bearisgray 07-01-2013 04:42 PM

It made me think of rick-rack or pinking shears.

Or a saw.

M.I.Late 07-01-2013 05:30 PM

I see frogs on a lily pad... (go figure - I would)

The individual block/wall hanging immediately made me think of "Game-On". Don't have a reason.

JustAbitCrazy 07-02-2013 04:39 AM

I think I'd call the individual block "Park Bench", and the quilt "A Day at the Park", "A Walk in the Park", or something similar.

tessagin 07-02-2013 04:43 AM

How about Gardens of Erin?

GrannieAnnie 07-02-2013 04:50 AM

the first thought that came to me was Hansel & Gretel IN THE WOODS..

Hey, I've not had my coffee yet

Cogito 07-02-2013 04:50 AM

Garden Maze? Or Every Which way?

Latrinka 07-02-2013 04:56 AM

Unlike everyone else's resp

onses, for me it has a southwest flair to it. How about "Fiesta"
Oh, BTW, very pretty pattern, would be pretty in a lot of different colors!!

Marich52 07-02-2013 05:34 AM

The green pieces make me think of frogs...how about Frog Jump?

I would agree that it could be made with any colors so perhaps not having a color in the name would be good. As is evident in the subtle way it looks a little different in the quilt compared to the wall hanging even though they are the same fabrics.

What were some of the things inspiring you when you made the block and quilt?

I can definitely see a name with park or game in it. I also like fiesta, because it is a very lively pattern and fiesta always sounds lively.

I am going to let it rumble around in my head for a while and check back later.

kyquiltlover1942 07-02-2013 08:08 AM

The first thing I thought of when I saw the first one, was a Poker table.
