Hi...I feel your pain. You might try JoAnn's on line..they sell lots of their quilt fabric on the internet.
I too have been looking for a fabric I saw once.. (and can't remember where  ) It is off white, with sketches of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, etc. the sketches are in grey. I have called and emailed. My friends on line here might be MY LAST BEST HOPE! HAPPY EASTER...HE IS RISEN. |
I found some, what's it worth to you??????? Just kidding PM me and give me your address. I haven't read all the other message so I hope you haven't received an email from someone else.

while I was looking at the bargin bug site, I saw books and panels listed. Can anyone tell me how those book things are done?

Thank you so much Rufus2 I will shoot a pm off to you right now!!!
Clem55, the books are really neat, The way I do them is layer a low loft batting or fleece and and the next page and then sew them "birthing style" inside out so you can turn them. They are pretty easy and fun for kids. I have made several for my kids from books that I had growing up. |

Recently I was looking for a particular fabric to FINISH a quilt for the family of a deceased niece. I got online, sent of swatches, to every place I knew. No Luck. Then, one day I was at Wal Mart for a lining for a baby quilt. WAA LAA there was the fabric I was looking for!!!!! Wal Mart buys discontinued fabric. Now, my Wal Mart says the fabric is going. Thank goodness for online fabric stores. Silvia

My KY Walmart said over a year ago that they weren'T handling fabric anymore, but after they had so many protest, it's still there.

thanks for instructions for book. I thought that weas it, but do they have two or more pages?
|
They normally have several pages, and what you do is lay the pages together (after they are all finished) like a book they are numbered normally and you sew down the "spine" of the book.
