Maybe a pale blue - that picks up or blends with the star fabrics? for a narrow border? instead of gold or yellow.
Gold or yellow is tricky and has to be 'just right' for it to work. |

I still find it surprising - that with the many fabrics I do have on hand - sometimes I still can't find one that is 'just right' for a project.

I tend to like dark as the last border at the edge just because it seems to anchor the quilt for me.

Bearisgray, it happens to me all the time. I just got back from Joann's and was able to find a yellow/gold that I think will work as a narrow sashing strip. I got another dark one too, but I don't think I am going to like it as well as what I already have. Thank goodness for 40% off coupons.

Oh good, I'm glad you found a yellow/gold that will hopefully work. I think that will be a perfect accent to this quilt.

Love to see how you finish this.

Very pretty quilt! I wouldn't put the wizard fabric in any borders, though, since none of it is already in the quilt top (jmho). I like all your other choices. The aqua, or any other coordinating color as a first narrow border, followed by a wider one of that dark blue fabric with small stars, would look great. Nice job!

I like it just the way it is. If I were goint to add a border I would use the aqua and then bind it with that wonderful Dark Star material. This quilt is really cool!
