Waves from Ohio. So sorry for the loss of your mom. as for a quilt what about white, red and green the colors of the Italian flag. I have seen ( i don't remember where) fabric with wine bottles you could include that in your quilt too.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, take care do you have any of her clothes, that you could cut up to make a quilt (hankies to use to decorate) like for a crazy quilt pattern, charms etc. on the quilt, also photographs, maybe a recipe that was written by her to put on a fabric block, etc. |

Maybe you could google novelty fabrics... there is so much out there now... you may find a lot that reminds you of Mom :D:D:D |

List is a great idea. Whatever quilt you decide to make will be a beautiful loving tribute to your Mother. The first quilt I ever made was a tribute to my Mom and the family tradition she created around the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was a Thanksgiving Tree from freepatterns.com |
