Beeswax helps - Also, try moving the needle to the tip of the thread instead of the thread to the needle. Sounds funny, but it works.

I don't think you can beat the Clover needle threader - just love mine!

When using the needle threader, hold onto the wire itself and not the "handle." :wink:

Tammy - I have the same problem but do a combo of these suggestions. I cut the thread on an angle and move the needle to the thread. And, the old fashioned one - lick the thread! I have broken many needle threaders, too. I'm going to check out the roxanne needles mentioned.

Thanks everyone for the tips.. I was looking for the Roxanne needles at Joanne's but could not find them.. will look at my quilt shop.. looks like one of the clover desk threaders may be coming home from the store with me too...
