Need large print focus fabric pattern...free of course
I was gifted yardage of several large print focus type fabric. I've had it for over a year so now it's time to cut and sew. No idea what a good pattern would be. Really don't want to buy a pattern. Thinking of cutting fab into squares rather than rectangles. Any ideas or pics would be greatly appreciated. This old brain just can't come up with any ideas. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with...lol.

Cut into squares and snowball the four corners. Add sashing between squares....this seems the simple way of using it all up.

Good idea Linda S, I have a box of gorgeous fabric all from the same line that could be used that way. Good idea. Easy and a good way to show off this line of tropical prints I was given.

I've used this pattern called Level Up for larger prints. You can adjust the block size and number of columns/rows based on what you have. And it goes together quickly.

Michele, love your pattern. Need a quick easy pattern since I'm sewing for Project Linus. I've marked other suggestions too. TY to everyone.

When you say "yardage", I have no idea how much!
Large prints can work perfectly as a backing fabric. If you have enough, use some of it on the front, for a well coordinated quilt! |
Such good ideas for large prints! Can hardly wait to finish a few UFOs so I can give at least of these good ideas a try.
