Just curious, outside of the sewing world, do you think many people know what "treadle" means?
Honestly, I'm hardly sure I know. It's a machine that you pump with your foot, correct? Is there an implied value from the term? I think they are cool machines, and I've never tried one so I truly don't know. |
I love Emily's Treadle Treasures - I think that would work!
QuilterEmily - is that easier to read? Don't worry - you will not lose me!! |

It could also be Auntie Em's Treadle Treasures |
When we had a restaurant, we had a rep from the Small Business Bureau come out and give us some advice one time. He said be sure your name says exactly what you do. So be sure and keep it simple. I think Aunty Em Quilts says it all. You could have a picture of a treadle machine in your logo. good luck in your endeavor!

I am not sure - I don't think so! Yes it is, it is a antique generally.
www.treadleon.net I have one in my profile picture. |
I like Aunt Em's (or Emily's) Treadle Made,
I also like: Threadle Made by Emily (or Aunt Em) or you could leave off the name and just use "Treadle Made" that says it all. If all you make is quilts then you could use "Treadle Quilts" |
i like Debs !!!!
