I know exactly how you feel. I have went through all of my quilting books and patterns that I had saved and nothing appealed to me so finally I just turned on EQ and designed at Linus quilt. It is kind of strange looking but I used up a lot of silly fabric that I had and am hoping that someone at Linus will not care that this quilt is "wild". The main thing was it kept me out of trouble cause if I don't have something to work on I end up in not such a good mood.

Marion...consider purchasing EQ8 and designing your own. The program alone is enough to inspire but when you actually start designing one, your bucket list will fill up again. I have so many designed, I’ll never get to all of them... I love doodling on that program... however, when I’m in a stump on what to make next, I make a few pillows...inspiration quickly follows..

Just finished a jig-saw that was fun to do

why not really experiment! maybe an art quilt, or a modern quilt, or something that you've always figured you'd never do.

Thanks Teen - I have that LOL - part of me is trying to stay away from the computer too much (since I work from home on it!) ... but it is a good idea!

That's what I am looking for!

I've done lots of art quilts and modern quilts! I should probably do a traditional quilt LOL

Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt (we are in week 6 but you can always catch up)?
Barbara Brackman (www.civilwarquilts.com) has a quilt along starting and several others that have ended.
Jen Kingwell's quilts are very involving - I've done My Small World, Long Time Gone, and The Avenue, and I'm starting Dear Jen in 2021.
Maybe work on some small projects til your sewjo returns?

My personal favorite it the kaleidoscope that I designed after seeing a picture on the cover of a magazine. I'd gladly share my design/drawing.
Or, do you have lots of t shirts?

Try googling charisma Horton. She used to post regularly here with pictures of her beautiful machine quilting. Now she is designing the most interesting quilts. Bigger blocks. I have a lot in my head I would
like to make. They are a bit different.
