I'm in the process of making a signature for my mom's 80th birthday. I am using a pattern called sticks & stones by sandi gervalis (sp?), which is a 3-block quilt. Rail fence, 9-patch, and off-white fabric squares.
I will bring the the squares (backed w/ freezer paper) to the party to be used in place of a guest book (we are expecting about 65 people). I am adding rows for a longer quilt |
How about this pattern?

Sew tinker, I just ordered that pattern, thanks!
What size are the cream blocks? I want to precut and send some fabric to my grandma asap as it looks like she may not be with us for our wedding..... |

This is the block I used - all 240 of them. If I had to do it again, I believe I would have paper pieced them rather than ironing on freezer paper. Thanks for all of your encouragement. I don't feel quite so bad now. |
