I have made almost all of the baby quilt patternsoffered at http://www.ginghamgoosepatterns.com/.
Don't be intimidated by the photos of the quilts. The instructions are very easy to follow. Some are time consuming & some take hardly any time to make. |
Gail B: those are darling quilt patterns and gave me some ides to use Thanks

All great quilts. Hope you can choose just one!

Nine-patch is one of my favorites and really showcases the fabrics because the pattern is so simple. Also, Yellow Brick Road is a very quick and simple pattern - very few matching seams.

creationsbyKara baby-rag quilt tutorial, is Great and soft and cuddly out of flannel and really easy and fast to make. I made one in one day when I had my materials and that was in between farm chores.
I used white print fabric with baby shoes on outside and then next row in a bright green print then light and pink in center. Baby boy flannel has so many more prints in flannel. I sat and watched tv to do clipping with spring loaded scissors and finished in an hour and a half that evening. Working on 2nd larger one now. I would rec a 80/20 poly cotton bat in your sandwich pieces. to enter http is about a page long so didn't. Step by step pics and directions....Have fun. |
Thanks to all of your suggestions. I found a panel with little lambs and will work with that. Maybe by the time I finish the quilt I will also learn how to post a picture of the finished quilt. Maybe I can incorperate (sp) all your suggestions somehow.
