I like the jewel box pattern to showcase fabrics, and I think it would be perfect for these. You'd need a 'quiet' background fabric to tie it all together, maybe tone on tone gold or green so the mostly white fabric would show as well as the red.

Here's some links for jewel box patterns:

Jewel Box from About.com

Jewel Box from Jinny Beyer

Jewel Box from Quilter's Cache

I just finished a jewel box quilt (binding it now) and I did each small block in the same fabric (two 4 patches and two half-square triangles) It looks great and really shows off the fabric.

How about adding a green and make a disappearing 9 patch. Your fabric is beautiful so you could use it on the 4 corners of the D9P so it would really be featured.

There is a book by Judy Sisneros called Rectangles with Pizazz that has simple patterns that showcase big prints or fabrics that are so beautiful that you don't want to cut them up. Get a look at that and I think you'll find what you are looking for.

Beautiful fabrics. They all seem to be the same size print and value. I would use them along with at least one solid color or tone on tone that is common to the prints. Decide what you want to make-- table runner, tree skirt, quilt and then think about the pattern. Do you want to do some applique or fussy cutting. Have fun looking at examples. There are so many great patterns out there, I couldn't begin to narrow it down.

I love those fabrics but never got around to buying any, but i see table runners or a wedge tree skirt, good luck with whatever u chose

Beautiful fabrics, I'm sure a pattern will come to you. Just search different pattern sights.
Adding some solids will help round out your pallette and make your fabrics go farther.

I have 6, 1 yard pieces of the following fabric and I don't have any pattern ideas for all this beautiful fabric. Please help me. I'd love to be able to use it all. I thought at first log cabin, but I would need more of the dark red then I have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks so much!

Personally I don't think they all go together. They're too close in color and size and will just sort of blend together. I'd pull out the second and third from the left and find something with a larger pattern and a marble or maybe a fairy frost to go with them.

truly, this fabric will be LOST in a log cabin...it deserves to be SEEN in all of its glory...try something with larger pieces, like a BQ3, Just can't cut it, or even a warm wishes!
