The quilt is beautiful and the colors are perfect. I love those colors and they look great together. Great job and thank you for sharing.

That is beautiful....purple is my favorite color to put in a quilt. Now...off to find that pattern :)

This board has a way of increasing my "to-do list" as far as quilting patterns lol

I like the POP of the black! doesn't bother me that it isn't batik. it is quite striking.

By all means, use the black. Perfect frame for the quilt and it really make the bold colors pop - I love it.
