Thanks everyone for your help. I am going to do the lattice idea and set on point. I orderd the pattern from Connecting thread and I can download. I need something to follow so I don't mess up. I have six more squares that are cut individual and I will cut all the other apart for this pattern. I was not sure so I left them in rows until I decided. I got this fabric at a discount store in Phoenix where they have lots of fabric from al over. Some is just folded pieces and you have to dig. This piece had a tear on on block on the outside where the the border is. With out that one I will have 29 blocks and they are just a bit over 7 1/2 inches square. Thanks again sushi for pointing me to that pattern.

I for one can't wait until you get it completed and post pictures. I agree that the lattice and setting on point is a good idea.

Those butterflies are awesome! Agree with the lattice pattern set on point and can't wait to see it finished!!

This would be beautiful done like Sushi wrote.[QUOTE=sushi;7776942]Have you thought about setting them "on point" and separating them with an Attic Windows

Is there anything on the selvedge that would tell the manufacturer? That is so pretty. Sometimes things like this can be found by searching the internet. I love the butterflies and the pattern is perfect. Can't wait to see it when you have it done.

I see several design opportunities. I like the quilt in the comment by sushi. I really like the colorfulness of these beautiful butterflies. I think I would sash each one of them with solids or blenders from each picture. When you join them together it would be a beautiful rainbowed effect. Then, I would use a floral with lots of colors for the border to bring it all together.

Have you considered auditioning the various colors in the prints? I can see royal blue, orange, pink, yellow, greenish-yellow, in addition to black. Might be that the lattice in one or more of those colors would really "sing."
