he, he. yep, i had a class for oil painting that the instructor didn't show up for. he'd had an argument with the Center when the classes were held, so he just didn't show up. all the students did!!!

That's too bad hope it works out.

I can understand why especially with the way gas prices are these days!

I have not read thru all the postings, but is the instructor the owner of the shop or an employee? Complaints need to be made - your time and money are important too! When a class is scheduled, the instructor "belongs" to the students who have paid for her/his time. To give any less is an injustice to the students. Yes, I have been in a class where the instructor was an employee of the LQS and customers actually came in during the class and wanted her to help them! Wrong. I would request my class fee be refunded and look for classes elsewhere.

I think I would ask for a refund. You won't be comfortable at the class.

She should throw and extra day in, because it was her own fault!

sewbizgirl 04-08-2011 05:50 AM

Rather than going for when she rescheduled, I would just ask for my money back, and some compensation for the gas and time you lost. I'd find someplace else to take classes.

That happened to me too. Two friends and I signed up for a class and the instructor was a No-Show. We were bummed but we went out for dinner and then to JoAnn's! The instuctor called to see if we wanted to reschedule with her...NOPE! We went elsewhere!
