Thanks Marie adult daughter |
how about a d9p, I can do that in an afternoon, or a split rail or a jelly roll

Does she like traditional or modern quilts?

I always use Warm Wishes (free pattern). The quilt goes together quickly. I use a 8.5" cute focus fabric to make a larger quilt with less blocks. You might look at some of the u-tube videos that MSQC has posted on the web. Good Luck.

can you give me one of each |
I like the MSQC disappearing hourglass. Looks like you spent forever piecing it. You don't need to purchase a layercake, just cut the squares from yardage.

Double slice from M*; works up quickly and is great for beautiful prints that you don't want to cut into small pieces as well as solids .

The fastest quilt is to make 20 inch blocks of any pattern you like. 3 block across and 4 down with a border or two and you have a queen size quilt.

Honestly something as easy as 10 inch squares can quilt up quickly if you find an awesome fabric collection. I did one that was more of 10x14 rectangles and it is one of my favorite couch quilts.
But partially it will depend on your DDs likes and dislikes and honestly what you like making. |
