A customer came into the office today and was moving her things out of the storage unit so she could have a yard sale. I asked her what she was selling that I couldn't live without, and she mentioned several things....one of them was "an old sewing machine that belonged to my friend's mom....it has a stool".
I perked up!! (Imagine that! ;) :lol: ) Asked what she'd want for it, and she said, "Oh... $20 I suppose....it needs to be cleaned up" and told me that she'd stop back by the office when she was done out at the unit. What she pulled out of her truck to show me was a Queen Anne cabinet (burled walnut, needs some TLC) the matching stool, and when opened, the machine is a 15-91! I handed her the $20 immediately!!! :lol: The stool is a storage stool, and is full of old spools of thread, needles and notions....along with a box of blackside attachments!! Need I say it?? Yeah...I think I will.... WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'll post some pics when I get her home and cleaned up a bit! |

How marvelous! I have just gotten a 15-91 with its case on ebay. It is in wonderful shape and the case WAS before sent! He didn't pack it properly and the handle got pushed thru the top and some other miner damage to the case! I can't imagine how anyone could send something as fragile as that and not pack correctly or even have it marked as fragile! I hope to find another case for it. Enjoy and take some pictures soon :)

William just came in the office and saw it...~grin~ All he did was ask me where I planned to put it, mentioned that the top of the cabinet would need to be refinished, and said that it really was "kinda pretty"!!
