I purchased a ream of UV/ULTRA II, made by Neenah, some time ago. I love this paper. With shipping it was almost $45.00. That makes it kinda expensive. I will be checking with Office Max to see if they can get it any cheaper.

I'm going to go ahead and order some if the shipping costs are okay.

With shipping it was just over $40, so I ordered multiple reams to bring the cost down. I do paper piecing almost exclusively, so I know I'll use it eventually, but if anyone wants smaller quantities let me know. Once it's here I can figure out how much will fit in a Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope to save on shipping.

I have lately been using a different sort of paper for paper piecing. It came on a roll, which I cut to fit into my printer. The consistency is like a lightweight newsprint and it's brownish in color.

I print the design on the paper, although with a light table, the paper is thin enough you could trace on it too. It tears easily and isn't as stiff as regular copy paper or vellum.

It came from Home Depot, in the paint department. It was intended to be used for masking off areas to be painted.

See if you have an XPEDEX in your area. They are a paper supplier and I have purchased Neenah vellum there before. It's a national paper supply chain.
