Gorgeous!

Sweeterthanwine 09-15-2011 03:51 PM

That quilt is absolutely gorgeous. Would like to do something like that, but my skills are no where that good.

katier825 09-15-2011 04:18 PM

I love that quilt! Wish I could afford the kit, but it's half a mortgage payment!

auntpiggylpn 09-15-2011 05:19 PM

WOW - $269!!!! It is beautiful though!

sewlisa 09-15-2011 05:24 PM

Wow!!

vivoaks 09-15-2011 05:29 PM

I got this pattern more than a year ago, when I stopped at a quilt shop in Ohio.... this can't be a new one. My DH and I had stopped at Lehman's in Kidron, OH, I think it is. There is a quilt shop right across the parking lot, so I went there while my DH looked around in Lehman's. I know this is the pattern I got...

magpie 09-15-2011 05:38 PM

No, can't afford that, just thought it was beautiful.

vivoaks 09-16-2011 01:58 AM

What I got was just the pattern - not the kit. I couldn't afford the kit either, but the pattern I got for around $17, if I recall correctly.

Love this one. I do have her Wedding Star pattern. I applique the curves to a pieced background though.

Super easy! her patterns are easy to understand and go together nicely. Also loved the appliqued borders that swung into the main body of the top'

Loved the quilt and love the store-I have actually visited this quilt shop while at the beach-they have beautiful fabric and lots of notions-very helpful staff!

Kutnso 09-16-2011 05:05 AM

Really beautiful but a shame that the flowers are not going to be really visible if you have the quilt on the bed.
Thanks for sharing, Kutnso

bobolee 09-16-2011 05:24 AM

That is beautiful!

mimee4 09-16-2011 06:15 AM

Oh my gosh. Exquisite.

karon21195 09-16-2011 06:31 AM

I adore this quilt!

vivoaks 09-16-2011 06:36 AM

I stand corrected - I just looked through Judy's patterns on the website, and the pattern I have is "A Garden For My Wedding Ring". Not exactly the same thing. The one I have has a lot more applique flowers on it. Either way, they're both gorgeous!

nlgh 09-16-2011 06:38 AM

Takes my breath away. That's so beautiful!!

My thoughts exactly, although it is quite stunning! I guess we can dream?!?

Oh, my....you are so correct...the one I made had the flowers on all of the borders, not just the corners, and called Garden for My Wedding Ring. I don't think this one was out when I bought my pattern. The new one has fewer flowers in the borders, and it is truly lovely!

Justmetoo 09-16-2011 07:05 AM

Beautiful, but that is a car payment. LOL

labug 09-16-2011 07:08 AM

Beautiful quilt but the price.

Geri B 09-16-2011 07:09 AM

it is beautiful, but not my idea of "fun"....to much like work....it would take me two lifetimes to complete that-of I was lucky. I prefer to do things I enjoy doing, yes, a little challenge now and again is good, but not agony!!!! On that one I don't know which would be more frustrating for me-the wedding rings or the appliques......I will admire one that someone else does as a true work of art.....

georgia 09-16-2011 07:10 AM

It's absolutely beautiful

patty04 09-16-2011 07:52 AM

Beautiful

Halfsquare 09-16-2011 08:03 AM

I love it! The white background is so fresh. I am liking white backgrounds again.

Justmetoo 09-16-2011 08:11 AM

I am with you Geri, it is beautiful! But as for me keep it simple and I enjoy it! !

callie 09-16-2011 09:18 AM

how beautiful! thanks

Kayaker26 09-16-2011 11:02 AM

It is pretty but it that really a kit price and I would still have to do all the work. What if you mess that up...I would kill myself...I will say though that it is a beautiful!

JanieH 09-16-2011 11:28 AM

Wow! That is gorgeous!
