We are thinking about adding a new category specifically for pictures of quilts, patterns, sewing rooms or anything else for everyone to post.

We would call it "Show and Tell".

Today, we would like to get your opinion. Let us know if you want this category created or not by placing your vote in the poll shown above.

Good idea to post pictures. Some of us learn more from pictures than just from text. :D

I love show and tell. Quilt shows without ever having to leave home. What's not to like. Seeing someone else's sewing room always gives me new ideas to try. I'm always looking for something better!

Since I am new to quilting, I would love to see what other creative people are doing. It would be the source of many new ideas.

I think it's a great idea, but let's limit it to pictures of quilts, in process &/or finished products.

Oh no, I dissagree, As Boo suggested is great. Patterns, Quilts, Sewing Rooms, anything that we can learn and grow from is great! Let's do it!

I think that quilty pictures would be great. Sometimes us new quilters want to know if we are doing things right, and if we could show our work before it is finished, maybe then we could get it right..........lol :lol:

I am all for any visual aid possible. At 80 years old I remember one thing from the past; that being "A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS".

Also, I am just a beginner when it comes to quilting. I am hoping "you can teach an old dog new tricks".

yes I think it would be a great idea I am a new quilter just starting and would give me ideas.

I think its great I love seeing differnt quilts. And the more ides I get for a new one the better

I would love to see pictures of completed quilts along with information as to where to find the pattern in case I'd like to make a similar one. Being kind of new to quilting, I probably would not recognize many of the patterns out there.

Count me in. I think that showing pictures of others work will entice you to want to quilt more......I know that when I first went to a quilting guild I saw the most beautiful quilts and I wanted to learn how to quilt and to be able to make beautiful quilts too.....and now I am.

I'd love to see quilts made by the people on the board. I get inspired by seeing alot of quilts. This board forum is a great resourse and this would just add another demention.

Will some one please tell me how to make a nine patch variation quilt .i need to know how long to cut the strip and how many inches, i know how to assembly it once i get the measurement.
