It's a pretty common thing for licensed fabrics to have the licensor's name somewhere in the design. Usually it's included in a subtle, unobtrusive manner.

It's always there in Charlie Brown/Snoopy fabrics for instance. If you look at this picture, beneath Snoopy's head, you will see a few tiny letters (hard to read but I think it's UFS).

And please notice it's *licensed* fabrics as opposed to *designer* fabrics. I think designers of quilt fabrics realize we don't want "extra stuff" included in the fabric, and they seem to be content with having their name printed along the selvedges. This is a licensing issue, I think, where the licensor is concerned about people making / selling items and basically profiting off of their good name or characters they have developed. (That is a whole other topic, though!)

Thank you for pointing this out. I will look more carefully in the future before having any thing cut.
I do not purchase shirts etc, that advertise for any particular company since I don't get paid to do so.
