:D I use a grapefruit spoon
|
I have one and hardly ever use it. I find it more difficult to use then just using my fingers.
|
I have used a grapefruit spoon, an old empty (& cleaned) fountainhead pen, a wooden press stick with a notch in it, and whatever else was handy at the time. I have never used a crochet hook, but I love that idea ... and I have several!! thanks for the idea!!

Do you have one? What do you use to close pins? |
I have one from JoAnns, 50% off, they have lots of 40% coupons this week, also several 50% coupons.

yes, I have one and love it. but you can use a spoon, a grapefruit spoon or a butter knife with the little ruff egdes. all work great.

Just another gadget for me to have to hunt for. I use a teaspoon. I always know where they are.LOL grapefruit spoon works even better than a plain teaspoon.

I have one and use it whenever I need to open or close a bunch of safety pins. It's one of those "Why didn't I think of this?" kind of things. If you use safety pins to hold your quilt together, I don't know why you wouldn't use one. I keep mine in the same covered box my pins are in, which is a Rubbermaid sandwich box.
