I went home, dropped off my new fabric and walked over and yes she is a quilter. She took me in and showed me some of her quilts. OMG they were beautiful. She is light years ahead of me. She has 2 pieces of plywood down that she cleans after each quilt she works on. She has a 2 car garage and she can leave it set up all the time. I have a 1 car garage and would have to pick it up after each use. I am looking forward to having a neighbor that has a love of quilting.

As soon as I read your post I too was thinking "gotta have a CLEAN garage floor" followed by "must be a NICE neighborhood" ... and then I had to check and sure enough, you're not in the frozen north. Ummm... those of us in snowy areas would have wet garage floors or icy ones, for quite a few months! ;)
