What brand was the fabric? was it cotton? fabric line? I haven't had any problem at all with the original FriXion pens. The formula may have been changed in some batches of pens. It's not made for quilting or advertised for quilting, same with the washable markers. The formula changes all the time with those.

I have yellow and white, but like I said have not tried them yet........did you use the eraser that comes on the pencil or the magic eraser to remove the lines?????

I use mine on cutting lines only and I don't make solid lines. Only a few little dots.

It was several different pieces of fabric from my stash, all cotton, no idea of the brand.

Did you use starch on the fabric; I read where that will affect it and there are threads here saying it isn't good on dark fabric. I wash mine with hot water and so far so good.
