Serious machine quilting for 6 years
Hand sewing for 48 years, because I started a Queen size yo-yo quilt by hand when I was 7 and finished when I was 12. Still do lots of hand sewing when we were traveling.

I made my first quilt with my grandmother in 1958, my first quilt on my own (Quilt in a Day) in 1978. Serious quilting (on a daily basis) started when I retired in 2007.

I have been quilting since 1992 which is 19 years. Good grief that's ages! Wouldn't be the person I am now without it though, and my home would not be so cosy as a result of my labours.
