I like the bigger flat daisy pin, so that won't work. Don't think I would use it if it was given to me either.....

These were 29.95 at my Hancocks yesterday.

I only buy pins that work on a magnet. Then I use a bingo marker magnet to catch them when I throw them. The bingo magnet goes in a big brass vase thingy with a pedestal that I can find at a glance even from across the room. I use a vintage machine so I don't have to worry about messing up the electronics so I put a sticky magnet on the machine to catch a few pins as I sew (probably not so good for the finish but I don't care)

Count me among the Leave it Behind group. Bulky, noisy, expensive, batteries, (landfill special handling) and totally unnecessary. The pins probably get nicked to pieces as they tumble, and sooner or later, all the heads will begin to chip and turn into dust. Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick to the magnetic pin box that I made.

I "demoed" one at Hancock Fabric yesterday. In my opinion, they are big and bulky, not nearly as user friendly as a magnetic pincushion. As with everything, I'm sure it serves a purpose for someone.

I have a tiny stand up dispenser like that that I use a lot called "Pin Magic". You just push down the top and a pin pops up. Very handy.
I don't think I'd ever use that huge noisy thing though! |
Interesting but I think I will stick (no pun intended) to picking my pins right off the table or out of the tin...
seems to me to be a whole lot easier. Just my opinion |
I just went back and reread the entire thread after posting my reply and it sure looks as though this is not going to be a big seller with our ladies.......
too big , too noisy and just not something that we need...... let's go shopping for fabric!!!!!!! |
Like using a pin cushion is hard??? I don't get it. I have several pin cushions...one for every project and room in the house.
