finally finshed step 2 with the extra strips i had to cut. my original strips were only 18-20 inches so only seven blocks sets possible. on to step 3 now. yea!!!!:D

Bugger it all, I'm short one 2x6 unit! How the heck did that happen? I don't know that I even have enough fabric to make another. Tragically bummed right now.

We are on step three- I am using a box to sort , Sis sorted hers, mom is just grabbing

This step 3 is very good practice for me! Matching those seams has always been a bear for me. I am so slow at this, will it ever end??????

Well, just finished step 3 but forgot to set aside the four units so time to unsew.....Sure cannot get these first two steps done in an hour. Maybe it will get better with fewer pieces as we go along.
