Ok, now I have a question, Part 4 says that you will need 4 two patch units from step 2 and 4 2 1/2 PLAIN squares from step 1, but if you look at the instructions in step one, they 2 1/2 square are cut from the Jelly roll and not the plain fabric. Im I missing something or do they have a mistake in the instructions?

I just finished step 4 and am moving on to 5 is the layout so once you get through step 4 you are almost done. It is 2:05 Eastern and they just released 6. Once you get through 5 you will have a good idea about 6

Will post a picture later.

Fabriclovr--lol! Thanks, maybe you could send it to Texas? J/K

Okay, apparently the extra strip I ended up with wasn't supposed to have happened, nor the extra 2x2 piece. I cobbled another unit together, though it's a little matchy.

That step was easy--on to the next!

YOu need to the ones you cut from the jelly roll. YOU need then to keep the 9 patch you are going to make all the same type of fabric.

I think they meant "plain" as in not sewn to anything else. I kinda paused at that one, too.

I posted the same question to the FB page and got this answer:

Merry May Says: The 2 1/2" squares are from the Jelly Roll. In this case, "plain" just means they have not been sewn to anything else.

Hope that helps anyone else that had the same question that I did.
