I have hand surgery and can't cut fabric. DH says he will cut it for me, but hasn't started yet. I'm saving the directions to a usb drive so I don't fall behind. I really want to do this! LOL He just doesn't understand why someone would want to make something and not know what it's going to look like when it's done. I told him that was the fun of it.... he just shook his head. LOLOL

LOL I am already behind also - but will catch up sooner or later :)

Quossum- is it 12 total of step 2 of 12 of each ?

we have 6 people here at my moms sewing - 4 doing the mystery quilt , 2 doing other projects

Just checking in, I got a slow start this morning, but I am ready to start the noon installment as soon as I finish my lunch.
So then I will be a little behind again!

Later...

I like the looks of this. I'm off to find fabrics from my stash and start catching up.

You'll end up with 12 each of the B-in-the-middle and the C-in-the-middle units. Be careful cutting as getting 6 3-1/2" cuts from the strips is *very* tight. I got a teensy bit of selvage in a couple of mine.

The steps so far have been quick and easy! Here's step 3:

Moving along! LOL at the befuddled hubbies--yes, the mystery is the fun of it!
