My resolution is to quilt and sew what I want, when I want, and for whoever I want. And to try really hard to do it using only the fabrics that I currently have - must be well over 500 yards by now, and most of is it really, really nice. Don't know why I keep buying more - but this is the year I economize!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

I am going to master this long arm thing. I am going to master this long arm thing. Is there anything like Dorothy's slippers that will get me there?

My resolution is to complete one quilt a month. With that said, I WILL count all of those unfinished tops that need sandwiching, quilting and binding. That is the only way I can get 12 in 12 months while working full time. Guess that means I only have about 4 new quilts to create. Tee-Hee-Hee!

My resolution is to NOT print off all the beautiful, creative quilts posted on the QB for my future "TO DO" list..... lol !! Must finish what is started...... must finish what is started ..... must finish what is started......

1. Finish all UFOs (of course)
2. Design my own quilt, for my own house. Maybe I'll make it a modern take on an old fashioned design.
3. Tie more quilts. Tying sets me freeeeee!
4. Get the sewing area organized. Sigh...Like that's going to happen.
5. Buy more organic and environmentally sustainable fabrics. (Only when they're on sale though.)
6. At least, check out art quilts. I'm intrigued, although I'm not sure I'm ready.

Have a very happy New Year everyone and thanks to all for your help and suggestions.

~ Cindy

My resolution is to get back to Dear Jane. I know that I will not get it completed in 2014.

For 2014, I will keep the afternoons for quilting. I retired not too long ago but have not spent as much time quilting as I planned. I have a new long arm quilting machine that I will get much better acquainted with. Only have a couple of UFOs to finish but have plenty of projects waiting.
