I spend time at work (when I'm not working on something) reading the board, drooling over pictures, and gathering tons of good ideas. When I get home from work, after I get supper cooked and the dishes done, the dogs taken out for the millionth time, a load of laundry or whatever else needs to happen going, then i try to work on quilts for an hour or several before bedtime. BUT because I have the ability to read at work - way more time is spent on the board than on quilts :)

It's called learning. Store the knowledge in the brain before you send it to the hands. A very tried and true method of doing anything.
