Well, here is the top, in the process of quilting now. My dh had his input on the quilt design. No real pattern. I found it hard to find marine material, so this is what I ended up with.

Sometime before the end of the year I want to make a (4x4) mini quilt to hang in my car from my rear view mirror. Now considering how long it takes me to make larger ones, this should be a no brainer or at least take a hour or less to make. Just a brain fart, but i would love to hang one in my car. hmmmm

I haven't got much done in the past week or so but I must get in gear tomorrow.

I would love to come "down under" & help you out! I have always dreamed of visiting Austrailia & Hawaii! Maybe someday my dream will come true! LOL

I was recently in Melbourne (and Sydney) and would have been glad to help you out! I fly over to Vanuatu a couple times a year (lived there for 18 years) now that we are semi-retired (still have our cafe in Port Vila), so it's a short trip to Australia from there!
