I'm looking for a seam ripper like one I had but lost. Instead of having a separate cap, it folds inside like the thumb drives that have the cover attached.

My lift and snip scissors. Safer than quick-unpicks, you can undo one stitch at a time without risk of cutting the wrong fabric. Great for cross stitcher's too!

What are you going to use these for. I have never seen these before can you use them over and over.

If you mean the scissors, I use them when unpicking. The point at the end of the cutaway part slips under the stitch, then you just cut like an ordinary scissors. I find them much safer than a quick-unpick - less chance of them slipping and cutting the fabric. I first bought them years ago when I did cross stitch.Working with 2 strands over 28 count linen, they were better for removing stitches without cutting the *expensive* linen. Cost about $A14.

they are the kind that are used in medical suture removal kits. |
My favorite would have to be my Gingher scissors my hubby got me and my #2 favorite is my Fiskar's rotary cutter and ruler in one!
My wish list is 1). some clover yo-yo makers 2.) One of those hoops that goes on a stand. I have trouble finding the fiskar's replacement blades for my rotary cutters. |

God needles for hand quilting, I used to use the cheapies, and there really is a diffrence! Oh, and good scissors, name brand doesnt matter tome, but nice sharp ones.
