Hi...welcome...this is a worldwide bug...I caught it back in January here in England, thought first of all it might be like a cold and I would be over it in a few days...but no it got worse....I am now at the stage where I have a small stash, have converted a bedroom into a sewing room, have a number of sewing machines and just can't stop quilting..! Come to the board regularly for my dose of medicine...always go away feeling so much better !!....Am really enjoying this bug.........Hope you enjoy it too.

It'll get worse! Believe me - I know. I started quilting ages ago and have never recovered. My stash is huge and still growing, my books are all over the house, the whole family knows to wear shoes in my house because of stray needles and pins - and I am having fun!!
No, you don't need therapy - just a quilt shop around the corner!!

Thank you all. I feel this is a great support group. You all support my obsession.

Yesterday I finished my first quilt (yes I posted pics) and now it is only worse. I want more fabric and more quilts and more projects and a HUGE stash and more books and more time on this board.

The good news is that today is the first day of my summer vacation. (School starts mid August)

yes, that's it...the only thing you can do is learn to manage your symptoms and come here for lots of support. Don't forget to 'give' support, lol...we like pictures. They support our addiction, um, condition I mean...very well! :XD:
