I see you've decided to buy the fabric you pictured. I think it will be great. I hope you got enough for your 6 repeats.... just saying.

IMHO, this fabric should be very interesting. When I consider fabric for stack n' whack I like different size shapes, at least five colors and random placement of shapes. I also audition the fabric with a hinged mirror. I used my mirror on the screen and the fabric you are considering looks like it would be interesting with many different blocks.
Go for it. |

I think you fabric will be a great OBW, I haven't gotten brave enough to even use triangles yet! I sure hope you post your progress as well as the final product.

Thanks - I've started searching on Pintrest and have found quite a few of these beautiful quilts.

Thanks for the reference - I'm going to be looking for the book on Amazon.

I got my fabric today! Well, got it two days ago, but just opened the package today. It's even prettier in person! The repeat is 17.5 so that should work. I purchased six yards so there is plenty there. I'm thinking it will be awhile before I can get started. I have to make a "Tardis" quilt for my granddaughters birthday, which is July 16, and I haven't started it yet. She lives here, so it's going to be a problem to work on it when she is around. She went on a school trip to Boston today so hopefully I can get it going tomorrow and have the top mostly done by the time she gets home Monday night. Maybe, if I don't sleep, eat, shower, cook, clean, do laundry.....LOL!
