I have always been under the impression that electronic/sealed units do not get oiled. Mechanical machines would require oil. I oil.....but look what I get to sew on.

I know this is an older comment but when I saw the pic of the sewing machine I got very excited. I've never seen a cabinet like this and I adore 'oddities.' How old is this machine? It's adorable. BTW, I collect old machines. Had a couple dozen until we lost everything in a fire. Over the three years since, I've collected back up to just under a dozen. But NEVER saw this one before. I'm so envious. Lucky PunkQuilter!!! (Here's a pic of the crown jewel in my collection-the gold on the machine is nearly perfect and the cabinet is in fairly good condition except for one water mark)
