i would be concerned abut it and the chemical which akes it insulated. so many washings may be required.

This may would be a great outdoor quilt. Camping, fishing etc. since it repels water.

it may be stain treated some fabric for furniture does that when it has been treated to resist stains

I would be worried about the chemicals in it that make it water repellant-against a baby's skin. I'd find another use for it.

Well after thinking guess I will use it for what it was made for lining for curtains...It sure is pretty and is even prettier after washed! Or backs for Table toppers??

I would hesitate to use this for a baby quilt. What kind of chemicals were used to make it insulated??? Also, have you tried needling it? It might just resist your needle and make it hare to quilt if you hand quilt.

If you have washed the fabric, and it still looks and feels good, it should be fine to use. You have received another jewel for your crown for your honesty. Bless you!
