I made these blocks a few years ago and they were just laying there. I had put them together with a plain dark green sashing and then too them apart figuring I could do better,Well ... almost 2 years later lol
I decided to set them on point and use plain white blocks inbetween, not sure if I am going to quilt or embroider a matching design on those Maybe just quilt. And I am thinking of putting a 1 or 1.5 inch strip around the blocks.
Here is my dilemma Do I put the dark medium or light blocks angled down the center or do what I did in # 4 .
I am leaning toward # 4 . What do you all think?

Oh BTW have you ever Tried to match fabric years after you bought the original? LOL talk about frustrating.

I'm with you - #3 - I think the dark is drawing your eye, so it's easier to look at the diagonal line than with the darks jumping around.

I'll go with 4, the last one. For some reason I thought there were only three of them.

Nice blocks, I like #3

# 4 has better balance in the placement of the blocks.

I like #4 better, but three is nice too. As for matching fabric two years after the fact, Honey I can't match fabric two weeks after the fact! it's very annoying! LOL!

I like #3. It seems to flow better.

Thanks I thought it #4 was a little different I guess thats why i like it.
So inch of purple inbetween or no?
I was able to match up the weave of the muslin I used I just need to wash it before I cut.
Hopefully I won't get this thing part way together and get bored with it like I did the OBW. :-)
