I am proud of you! I think that $200 was for something else, not to be sold. JMO. Edie

The cases don't last as well as the machine. If the machine is in good shape, that is a good price. I paid twice as much and my case is on the shabby side.

What a wonderful "gift"

Just me but I think I would feel a little guilty that the seller did not know and would probably return it.

WOW! I need to really check out the garage sales in my area. What a great find for you! Post pictures of your treasured stash you buy with the money.

I had some of purses ready to give to a thrift store. Just as they were about to go out the door I decided to check the inside pockets. I found $300 of my own money in one of the pockets. I did the happy dance.

for years my mom cautioned: "when i die, never just toss things out. look in everything! check out every item." when she passed, i was helping dad with her things, and found over $3,000 to give to him. (it eventually purchased their headstone). i was able to assure him that even from beyond the grave, mom was taking care of him... and when he died, my kids moved into the folk's old house. when they were moving stuff in dad's workshop in the basement, they found another stash of coins and silver, antique bills, etc. that had been my grandmother's. i'm still wondering what we'll find in mom's old antiques. she had even hidden cash in some of her music boxes that weren't designed to hold things.

life is a scavenger hunt...
