I had heard that canned air was a no-no but wow, that is a NO-NO. Thanks for the affirmation.

I always knew that lint had to go somewhere in the machine, and never used it . But for those who have or are tempted this is a great photo of what will happen.

Yikes!
I don't use it either, but this shows exactly why we shouldn't.

Thanks so much for the advice. I never used it but I will pass this on to my quilting buddies.

Thanks for a good reminder!

I wouldn't use canned air on my electronic machines because I can't fully open them and get to everything.

But on the "old gals," I haven't found anything as good for cleaning as a chenille stem dampened with oil and a can of air. Blow everything out, then swab it all down with an oily chenille stem. Clean and slick and lint-free. :)

I would rather use a computer vacuum but still worried about messing up my baby.

I heard before that canned air would do this, but visual proof is more convincing than someone just saying so. Computer vacuum only from now on.

Thank you. I have never used it and now I never will.
