A big huge thank you to you all!!! :thumbup: I am using thread colors that match, tried black, and I just am not creative enough to get that to work, looked good on the blocks with not many parts, but for others with more smaller pieces, it just didn't look right...for the sashing, it will be the plaid, or solid black with white or yellow stitched lines to mimic a road, thanks to ya'll for that clever idea! There are so many wonderful creative people here!!! Love this board! Will post pics when I get it done... K |
I think you should get a solid blue - Kona or something - so the sashing just frames the blocks, not competes with them. They are ADORABLE!

The first choice that came to mind was the plaid. So plaid it is.

Plaid....doesn't make your eyes wandering around at the whole focus point of it. Those other fabrics are cute but the plaid lays it to rest.
