I tried carefully cutting all the pieces out with 1/4" extra for seam allowance. It doesn't work. I spent about 5 hours on it and cut several, but it just doesn't work. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I need detailed cutting and sewing instructions.

I cut out the palm tree pattern but the pieces did not fit together when sewn. What am I doing wrong? I also need this to be a 6" block. Thnx :)
