I love Pam Bono designs. I've made several of her designs and all have come out great! I find her instructions very well written and easy to follow. My daughter - who's not a dedicated quilter but more of a dabbler - made a PB quilt for only her second quilt and it came out lovely too.

I bet you'll do just fine too! My suggestion is to just take your time and enjoy the process. :)

I just finished her "Flying Home" pattern which features pieced geese flying in formation into a sunset made of flying geese blocks. It is beautiful and the instructions are excellent. I increased the size and added an extra pieced goose so the figuring for that was time consuming. It is now on my bed. I believe it was actually designed by Mindy Kettner for Pam Bono designs. It is from her book "More Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts" It may be out of print now though. I love several of the quilts in that book.

I've done one of her simpler ones http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ar-t25770.html

I rather enjoyed it and would definitely do another. Her directions look involved but that is because she is thorough. I say go for it. Try just doing a block or two. You will know by then if you like it or not but it means deciphering the cutting directions for just one or two blocks.

I bought Pam Bono's Big Book of Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts because of all the pretties in it, but have not been brave enough to try one yet. When I saw all of the pieces involved for each block, it scared the tar out of me. The directions seem to be well organized and there are lots of great pictures and diagrams. Good luck.

Great advice from everyone. Her patterns are gorgeous. I made her "breezing by" quilt

I love Pam Bono designs. I always use the Angler 2 when I'm working on hers.

I made the Flying Home last year. You just have to take your time and read, read, read the pattern til you understand. It's not that hard, just lots of pieces. I want to make another of hers.

They really are pretty easy to make. Mather problem I seemed to have was that there are lots of TINY pieces. Make sure you cut and then immediately label the parts.
