saw her and her trunk show last year. loved her. Her Husband designs lots of their patterns. bought several patterns, made the ship from the Baltimore type quilt. did this for a friend to put in the middle of her underground RR quilt. Not hard, just lots of pieces and cutting. follow the directions and went together great. have fun.

I have a friend that Pam Bono quilts are her favorite quilts to make. I have not made any, but she tells me they look difficult, but are very easy.

I absolutely love, love, love Pam Bono's patterns. Since joining her club, she and I have gotten to be e-mail pals and she is a delightful person. I had made a few quilts from her patterns before joining the club and when I found I could get oodles of patterns for 60% off as a club member, I couldn't join fast enough. Yes, her patterns have upteen jillion small pieces, but using the baggie method of keeping things together makes it so much easier. Besides, I'm a jigsaw puzzle person so putting her quilts together is much like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Again, I love her patterns and don't find them difficult at all.

I have done several of her patterns, and true not hard but lots of small pieces to keep track of. I cut and used quart sized baggies that are marked with what they are.

I want to try one but have not done so yet.

Thanks for the encouragement, cant wait to start, Now deciding what one;) .I am for sure doing the buffalo one but need to obtain neutral to brown batiks .I also want to make one of the table topper, oh there are so many of her patterns I love.

I have been wanting to make "Flying Home" but wasn't sure because of all the pieces. After reading everyones comments I think I will start it. I use zip lock bags when doing quilt with lots of pieces, so that is nothing new. Like someone said, her quilts are different than 9-patch or star quilts. Sometimes I just have to challenge myself. I just have to remember her quilts are not Quick!

I made a baby quilt as really liked the way it turned out. You have to be very accurate in your cutting and because there are so many small pieces, you have to be organized in how you keep them. Ditto on the Angler 2. Love it. I am currently working on her swan pattern. Has not been as difficult as I thought it would be.
She designed it as a wall hanging, but I have added starbursts and made it larger for a bed. Picture is attached of a portion of the quilt.

Not difficult to make if you read the instructions carefully and follow them exactly. I made this before I learned how to paper piece and am still amazed at how well the horns on the deer turned out with regular piecing.
