Thanks for the tip. I love to paper piece, so will make a trip to the dollar store for some.

I went to our local newspaper and asked if they had any ends of rolled newsprint paper. They didn't but got some for me from their supplier. It is great for paper piecing. It was inexpensive and large enough for the biggest block. It tears out very easily. It will last for a very long time so I am super pleased.

I bought an tablet of newsprint paper, 18 X 24 inches, at Hobby Lobby with a coupon. It cost $7.78 for 100 sheets. It is wonderful for paper piecing. I went looking in desperation because of the cost of having oversized things printed at the local printing store.

Thanks for passing along your brilliant idea!!!!!!! :)

What a great idea! Thank you so much for the "tip of the day". I was just trying do enlarge a block that I wanted to make and had to tape 2 pieces of graph paper together. I love the idea of having grid marks on the back of the wrapping paper. You are so creative and for $1 too!!!

Brilliant idea,,,,,,,thanks for sharing.

My current paper piecing project is sized for A4 paper. There isn't much of a size difference from regular paper. I can't get this project to print correctly on standard paper. To order A4 paper piecing paper isn't too bad, the shipping(international) is more than the paper. I buy the cheap pads of drawing paper pads at the dollar store and trim them to size. I use it for all of my projects as I like it better than regular paper piecing paper.

That's great to know, I do lots of scraps paper pieced quilts, the grid will cut my prep time by a lot, thanks for sharing.

Most of these products don't go thru my printer tho.....not sure why.....
