are you talking about sewing material (small pieces) to a sheet of notebook paper?I have heard of this .

Carol Doak has a DVD that teaches you how to paper piece. It's worth every penny.

I have not tried it but I'm sure that once I do it will be on my list...my very long list.

It isn't my favorite, but I really do like the precision so yes, I love paper-piecing, too. :)

I'm working on a queen-size quilt made from a Carol Doak pattern - I only have two more pieces to put on 80 blocks and I'll be done with the tedious part and can get on to the fun parts.

Anything Carol Doak is great fun. She has a yahoo group with lots of stuff going on all the time. And as a person, she's a hoot. :)

I've done it a few times and really enjoyed it. I bought a book by Leisure Arts called "100 Paper Pieced Quilt Blocks" by
Linda Causee. It includes a CD with block sizes 2" to 8" to print out. I want to clear out some of my other projects so I
can play with it.

Paper piecing is my favorite type of making blocks. The points always turn out so well. I use Carol Doaks books a lot and also use EQ6 to make paper piecing patterns.

I love PP too. Just took my first class last week and I made a table topper ... it was really fun! I had to be really careful to make sure I had the fabric facing the right direction and I was sewing on the right side ... lol!

I learned from the best, Carol Doak, in a class some years ago. Her method and tools have made paperpiecing my construction of choice. Her instruction and pattern books are well worth the money and if you get a chance to take a class you will love it. There are hundreds of free pp patterns on the internet.
