love cutting and planning and sewing but I HATE binding. Not so bad now that I am getting the machine binding down pretty darned good, but still don't like it.

What kind of clamps? This sounds really interesting. Getting down on all fours to pin a quilt is getting harder and harder.

Those are really good! I'll get some. DH goes to Lowes and Harbor Freight all the time, and he can pick the up for me.
Thanks!!

I am so with you on this! I LOVE the designing and piecing of the quilt but when it comes to the actual quilting, I procrastinate! Right now I have 4 quilts all sandwiched and ready for the quilting and working on a 5th! I machine quilt, but just don't enjoy it! Can't afford to send it out, so I must get to get eventually!

I dread the binding, it never comes out like I would like

Marjpf -
I am lucky cuz my husband will do the ripping for me - he likes to sit in my sewing room and chat with me while he is ripping.

piecing everything after the first block. I love the quilting process, I guess because there is always room for improvement.

I really hate adding the borders too! The sandwiching is so easy to me. I alway have to rip on everything at some time or another, I'm used to it so it don't brother me.

I'm with you on this, cause I don't hand quilt anymore, to hard on the hands. And I haven't learned to machine quilt yet.

I am with you on this! I machine quilt, and it seems that it takes me longer to do all of this than putting it all together. I keep looking - how many more 'rows' or panels to do

Definitely the quilting part. I especially hate the marking!
