Pattern suggestions

I have been asked to make a "dreamy, feminine" king size quilt. She wants the colors to be light blue, teal, and light purple. Any suggestions on a pattern? TIA

Those colours would be lovely in a Bargello.

I like this one - not exactly sure of the pattern but it looks like it could be figured out easy enough

Lots of patterns would do the job, but to me, it is the fabric that is going to make it "dreamy and feminine".

Pastels, lace, and embroidery are what comes to my mind when I think "dreamy and feminine".
Also plain fabric, blenders or small prints.

You might have a challenge to find blues, teals and purples in pastels, but they are out there.
There are some beautiful embroidered yardages that can be found too.
Lace can be mixed into a quilt, or used as a ruffly trim.

What about lace overlay on blues, teals and purples?
That could soften the look of what could become quite heavy and not so "dreamy and feminine".

When I think of dreamy and feminine I think of Dresden plate or the many variations.

Or even this if she is a little on the modern side (done in her pastel colors) https://www.google.com/search?biw=13...oFPyWBn09sz9M:

Or for a very simple, 9 patches, hst, sashing and corner stones, but still a great look. https://www.google.com/search?biw=13...7JyM_UoZfkAUM:

I would think that it will be the fabric that makes it "dreamy and feminine." Pick a pattern that you feel comfortable making and show her a picture to see if she is ok with that. Even a churn dash or log cabin would be pretty in light pastels. Since it is Easter and spring time I would think you may be able to find some pretty fabrics in your lqs. Good luck.

I just ordered this pattern. It would be easy to enlarge. http://www.villarosadesigns.com/shop...72-x802171.htm
