I received an email from PayPal and also BofA. I do NOT have accounts with either. Just deleted the emails without opening.

I got that last week, too. Never, never click on a link in the message of something like that. Call the business yourself to ask the question. They'll probably tell you they will never advise you by e-mail of something like that.

I also got ripped off sometime ago, thinking it was paypal, someone got into my account and took money! skype was it. so I am very cautious about paypal, and change my password a couple of months. When I do receive strange messages I sned them to paypoal. oh and by the way?? when they do contact you, they use your name not "dear customer".

Thanks so much for the heads up

Thanks for the good reminder. I got one from "PayPal" recently too.

I showed this to my DH, he said the very first words after "Dear" would tell you outright that it is a scam. He said any time he has gotten an email from Paypal they always use his name. Another thing he does is not go through any links. Go direct to the site

Thank you for the warning!
