Ok, makes sense. I'll buy something that specifically says fusible fleece. What can I use this stuff for?

I've used it to stiffen up fabric for the interior pockets on a purse or the lining of a purse. It would work for the interior lining of the bowtuck and the pockets. But the outside of the bag you will need to get some fusible fleece. Go to joanns there are several brands of fusible fleece, ask the gal at cutting counter for fusible fleece, its usually about a 1/4 inch thick or just a little thinner. I suppose you could use it for applique but I think it would be to stiff for the finished quilt. Good luck with your bag!

Sorry that is the wrong stuff. I use this to iron onto fabric that I am getting ready to embroider on. T shirt quilts, but it won't work for stabalizing a tote. I bought this at JoAnns for 2.99 for the bolt. I think it had 10 yds on it.
